Patent Attorney Kim Yu-ri passed the 34th patent attorney exam and worked at a domestic patent firm before moving to the US, completing JD at the University of Pittsburgh and passing the US bar exam. He worked as a patent attorney at Blakely Sokoloff Taylor & Zafman, a Silicon Valley IP law firm, and Intellectual Ventures, the world’s largest patent monetization company based in Seattle.
After that, when he returned to Korea in 2010 and joined Samsung Electronics, he established and implemented strategies to respond to various patent issues such as the Samsung-Apple patent dispute, and was one of the nation’s top patent experts who was the first woman to be promoted to managing director in the Samsung Electronics Patent Team. It is evaluated as a person. In addition, Yuri Kim, a patent attorney, has been working in the venture technology finance office of KDB Development Bank since 2015, operating a specialized IP investment fund worth 100 billion won, and has various experiences in investment and profit creation as well as responding to IP patents.
