Reports reported that former U.S. President Donald Trump proposed to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un to board the U.S. presidential aircraft, Air Force One, during the 2019-North Korea-U.S. summit in Hanoi.

Former White House National Security Adviser Matthew Pottinger said this in the BBC documentary’Confronting the Trump World’, AFP and BBC said on the 21st (local time).

He said, “President Trump knows that Kim Jong-un has been on the train for a few days to Hanoi via China,” he said. “If you want, you can get him home in two hours.”

This proposal came after the talks ended in a’no deal’, and Kim said he declined.

AFP news agency said, “If Chairman Kim accepted this offer, he would have seen an official US aircraft with North Korean leaders and attendants entering the North Korean airspace.”

In the same documentary, former White House National Security Adviser John Bolton said that former President Trump “thought that he had a new best friend” of Chairman Kim.

Former Aide Bolton pointed out that President Trump suddenly proposed canceling the training of the ROK-US military union during the Singapore summit, “a concession with nothing in return.”

The BBC documentary’Confronting the Trump World’ is scheduled to air on the 24th.
