On the 13th, the day after Lunar New Year, traffic congestion continues in major road sections, with the number of vehicles using highways nationwide is expected to reach 3.85 million.

According to the Korea Expressway Corporation, as of 2 p.m. on the same day, the Gyeongbu Line toward Seoul direction Yangjae ~ Banpo 7km, Giheung ~ Suwon 3km, Anseong ~ Anseong Junction 9km, Cheongju Rest Area ~ Mokcheon 2km, Cheongju Cars are not speeding up in the 7km section from Junction to Oksan, the 2km section near Sintanjin and the Sintanjin, and the 2km section near Daejeon and Daejeon.

Based on departure from the toll booth at 3pm, the estimated time from major cities to Seoul is △5 hours and 20 minutes in Busan △ 4 hours and 40 minutes in Ulsan △ 3 hours and 20 minutes in Gangneung △ 2 hours and 30 minutes in Yangyang (arrival in Namyangju) △ 2 hours 20 in Daejeon Minutes △ Gwangju 4 hours 10 minutes △ Mokpo 4 hours 30 minutes △ Daegu 4 hours.

At the same time, the estimated time required by car from Seoul to major cities in each region is △4 hours and 30 minutes in Busan △ 4 hours and 10 minutes in Ulsan △ 2 hours and 40 minutes in Gangneung △ 1 hour and 50 minutes in Yangyang (from Namyangju) △ 1 hour and 30 minutes in Daejeon △ Gwangju 3 hours 20 minutes △ Mokpo 3 hours 40 minutes △ Daegu 3 hours 30 minutes.

On this day, 3.85 million vehicles are expected to use the highway in the country.

It is predicted that 320,000 vehicles will move from the metropolitan area to the local area, and 390,000 vehicles will move from the local area to the metropolitan area.

The congestion on the highway toward Guigyeong is expected to continue until midnight.

The congestion on the highway to the provinces begins around 9 am to 10 pm, reaches its peak at 12 pm to 1 pm, and is expected to resolve around 7 pm to 8 pm.

The congestion towards Seoul begins around 10 am to 11 am, peaks at 5 pm to 6 pm, and is expected to resolve around 10 pm to 11 pm.
