Tottenham won the FA Cup 3rd round (Round of 64) away game 5-0 against Marin in the Marine Travel Arena in Crobiz, Merseyside, UK on the 11th (Korean time).
Tottenham’s coach Jose Mourinho, who is fighting for the championship in the English professional football Premier League stage, actually appoints a large number of major players to meet the amateur team, Marine FC. A rotation was made to put backup players in only some positions.
He gave a break to Son Heung-min-Kane, who rarely had a chance to rest with the team’s core strength. Son Heung-min was listed on the replacement list that day, but did not play in the game. Kane missed the entry altogether.
It is the first time that Son Heung-min took a break without going to the game after the fourth leg of the European Football Federation (UEEA) Europa League group stage against Ludogorets (Bulgaria) on November 27 last year.
Director José Mourinho started out with Vinicius, Delhi Ali, and Lucas Maura.
Tottenham led the game with a high share, but struggled early in the game due to Marine’s dense defense. Rather, in the 19th minute of the first half, Marine’s Neil Kengni-Quemo’s shot hit Tottenham’s goal, giving a decisive shot.
However, it was Tottenham who broke the balance of the game. Vinicius scored the opening goal in the 24th minute of the first half, followed by an additional goal in the 30th minute of the first half, making it 2-0 in no time.
In the 32nd minute of the first half, Lucas Moura scored a free kick goal, and in the 37th minute, Vinisius started the scoring again, making the team’s fourth goal and his first hat-trick after joining Tottenham.
Tottenham, who finished 4-0 in the first half, put 17-year-old midfielder Alpy Divine in the second half to make their first-team debut.
Divine received a heel pass from Maura from the left side of the penalty box in the 15th minute of the second half and scored his debut goal with a powerful right foot shot, ending Tottenham’s 5-0 win. Divine, 16 years old and 163 days old, became the youngest goal scorer in Tottenham’s history with this goal.
Tottenham will play Aston Villa on the 14th in an away game in the EPL round 18.
