Coach Park Jin-seop, who took the baton of K-League 1 FC Seoul and gave a strong first greeting with a big win in the game played in front of a home fan for the first time, pledged again to revive his face as a strong team.

After finishing the second round of the K-League 1 against Suwon FC held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on the 7th, coach Park said, “As a manager of a team representing the K-League, FC Seoul, when I greeted the fans on the ground, it was a new and personal honor.” He revealed his feelings before his home debut.

Coach Park, who led his first ever high-level split at Gwangju FC last year, was selected as the right person to lead the’Myeongga Reconstruction’ in Seoul, which lost his pride by hovering around the bottom last season and took the new year’s baton.

Seoul, under the system of director Park, raised the expectation of a leap by continuing bold recruitment of Palosevich and Park Jung-bin, led by Na Sang-ho, who was with him during the Gwangju period.

In the official opening game against the first round defending champion Jeonbuk Hyundai, he suffered a 0-2 defeat, including his own goal, but at the opening of the home, he delighted 4,100 fans who visited the scene with a cool victory by three goals. Director Park and Na Sang-ho, who reunited in Seoul and attracted attention, made a big success with multi-goals. This is especially encouraging for Seoul, where last year’s unique scoring power was poor.

Manager Park said, “I thought the first goal was important, but after the luck entered, the players felt comfortable or shaken a lot. It seems that having passed without a run in several crises leads to a good game.”

He added, “I made a lot of mistakes in the build-ups of defenders. I prepared a lot in winter training, but it seems that it was going to be a crisis situation that I hit a wall in the actual battle,” he said.

Regarding Na Sang-ho, who scored multi-goal, “Na Sang-ho, whom I saw in Gwangju, and Na Sang-ho, who I met again after I went to Japan and became a national team, is very different. I have more time and confidence,” and “I thought I would show a good enough figure. Thank you for scoring the goal and congratulations.”

Seoul will visit Seongnam FC on the 10th and Incheon United on the 13th and visit the metropolitan area, and on the 17th, they will bring Gwangju, Park’s home team, to their home.

Director Park said, “I think Seoul is the process of becoming a strong team now,” and “I will continue my efforts to become a brighter team tomorrow and a team that keeps improving.”
