From the 11th, the government will pay the third disaster support fund to small business owners and the underprivileged people affected by the third spread of Corona 19. A maximum of 3 million won is paid to karaoke and entertainment bars that have not been properly operated because it is designated as a banned business, and 2 million won is paid to businesses that are restricted to gatherings such as restaurants and PC cafes that have limited business hours.

In addition, the underprivileged, such as special type workers and freelancers, will also receive up to 1 million won as an emergency employment stabilization grant.

In the case of supporting funds paid to small business owners, a text message is sent to the target person on the 11th, and payments are made sequentially from the same day through application. However, applications may be crowded at once, so you can apply online with odd numbers for 11 days and even numbers for 12 days based on the last digit of your business registration number.

Prior to this, the emergency employment security subsidy for the underprivileged class was announced on the 6th as well as an announcement letter to the target audience.

According to the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, from the 11th, the support fund and emergency employment stabilization support will begin to be paid to 2.8 million small businesses and 700,000 underprivileged employees such as special high school and freelancers.

Small business owners’ support fund is paid in cash to alleviate the burden of fixed costs to small business owners whose sales have decreased when business is suspended or restricted due to reinforced social distancing. Depending on the type of business, 1 million won is paid in common to all businesses in the name of support for business damage, and support for reducing fixed costs such as rental fees is divided into businesses prohibited from collective (2 million won) and restricted collective (1 million won).

It is expected that 300,000 new beneficiaries who did not receive the 1st and 2nd disaster subsidies will be able to pay at the end of February through a business announcement after the VAT report on the 25th of this month.

The emergency employment stabilization support fund, which is paid to special notices and freelancers, has been sent with a business announcement and a letter of guidance from the 6th of this month. 650,000 freelancers who received the first and second emergency employment stabilization grants can receive an additional support fund of 500,000 won from the 11th without a separate review.

The support fund will be paid to the account created at the time of application from the 11th to the 15th. If the application is not made within the period, the application is deemed to have been applied and the support fund is paid to the account registered to receive the existing employment security support.

Special advisors and freelancers who have not previously received support funds will receive applications from February. This target is for 50,000 people whose annual income is less than 50 million won and whose income in December last year or January this year decreased by more than 25% compared to the annual average of last year or December 2019. The goal is to start payment on the 11th and complete the payment at about 90% of the beneficiaries before the Lunar New Year holiday.
