The ruling party and the Blue House were confused when the court decided on the 24th to stop the’two months’ disciplinary effect against Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol.

“We express our deep regrets,” said Choi In-ho, the chief spokesman of the Democratic Party, in a written comment on the day.

He added, “I am concerned that this ruling will undermine the stability of the administration and lead to distrust of the judiciary, which will intensify the division of national opinion.” I will make it.”

Meanwhile, the Blue House refused to talk about the court decision. Blue House spokesman Kang Min-seok said, “The court’s judgment came out late,” and “There will be no announcement of the position today.”

Previously, the 12th administrative division of the Seoul Administrative Court (Deputy Judge Hong Soon-wook) cited a partial request for suspension of enforcement of the effect of disciplinary dispositions filed by Yoon against Justice Minister Chu Mi-ae. Accordingly, the disciplinary action against General Yoon will be ineffective until 30 days after the ruling of the original lawsuit seeking cancellation of the disciplinary action.

However, considering that the ruling on the main bill is difficult to be made until July of next year, when Yoon’s term ends, it can be seen that the court’s decision effectively lifted the discipline of President Yoon.
