Earlier, on the 24th of last month, Mr. C and Mr. D revealed through a lawyer Park Ji-hoon that they were sexually assaulted by their seniors A and B in January-June 2000 while they were in a soccer club at an elementary school in Jeonnam. Ki Sung-Yong’s name was not mentioned, but I could fully guess that Player A was Ki Sung-yong.
Ki Sung-yong held a press conference after the opening game of the K-League 1 of the professional football on the 27th of last month and claimed innocence over allegations of sexual violence. C and D were notified of a legal response, and attorney Song, the legal representative of Ki Sung-yong, urged C and D to disclose “proof of sexual violence”.
Accordingly, C and D responded that if Ki Sung-yong filed a lawsuit, the evidence would be disclosed in court. In the end, it is expected that a fierce court battle will unfold as Ki Sung-yong decides on a civil lawsuit along with criminal charges against Mrs. C and Mrs. D.
