A trial version of Resident Evil Village, released in May, will be distributed. The schedule is partially different for each model, so it is necessary to check it carefully depending on the device you have.

Capcom announced the release schedule of the second trial version of Resident Evil 8: Village through the Resident Evil Showcase on the 16th. Unlike the first trial version that only supported PS5, this time it is provided on several models, and the PlayStation has a kind of’Try ahead’ that allows you to play the trial version before other models.

First, for all models, experience play will be provided from 9 am on May 2nd to 9 am on the 3rd. The models are PS5, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC (Steam). You can try two stages in advance: the village and the castle for 60 minutes. However, the pre-download period is different for each model. PS5 and PS5 will be available for download from April 16th, and Xbox and PC will be distributed in advance from April 30th.

In the case of the PlayStation, in addition to the previously introduced, you will be given an opportunity to experience the game in advance. First, you can play’Village’ for 8 hours from 5 pm on April 18 to 1 am on April 19, and then the castle stage experience will be held from 5 pm on the 25th to 1 am on the 26th. Each play time is 30 minutes. About the reason why the pre-experience time was set as ‘8 hours’, producer Tsuyoshi Kinda of Capcom explained, “It has a meaning to commemorate the eighth work in the series.”

Along with this, the’The Mercenary’ mode, which is included in the game, was released. Mercerize, known as the’mercenary mode’ in Korea, has a simple rule to get to the destination within a limited time by defeating enemies, and is one of the modes that gained a lot of popularity in the existing series. However, in this title, a shop where you can purchase and upgrade weapons will open, and abilities that can be used in battle are also added. Abilities are divided into improving movement speed, increasing defense when guarding, and increasing specific firearm attack power.

Resident Evil Village deals with Ethan Winters’ journey to find a daughter kidnapped by Chris Redfield. One of the main villains is Alchina Dmitreskur, a huge female vampire who is 2.9m tall, which was attracting attention at the time of its release. The game will be released on May 7th, and the package version will be pre-sale on the 16th.
