Tiger Woods’ follow-up surgery with fragmented ankle bones was successful

Tiger Woods of the US’Golf Emperor’, who was greatly injured in a car rollover accident, posted a post on Twitter on the 26th local time stating that he had successfully completed the follow-up surgery.
An article posted on Woods’ Twitter account said, “Tiger moved to Cedars Sinai Medical Center and had a follow-up operation for the injuries this morning. The surgery was successful and he is recovering and feeling good.”
“Tiger and his family want to thank all of you for the great support and messages they have received over the past few days,” the tweet continued.
According to CNN broadcast and the Daily New York Post, Woods suffered serious injuries to his legs and ankles in an accident in which a car overturned while driving in Los Angeles (LA) County, California, on the morning of the 23rd.
In this accident, he suffered a’crushed open fracture’ in which several parts of the right leg bone were shattered and the broken bone tore the skin and protruding, and the shin bone and calf bone were fixed by driving an iron core. I had surgery to stabilize with a pin.
Medical staff said these iron cores and screws could become permanent and that Woods would not behave for the time being.
Meanwhile, CNN reported that Woods’ new hospital was a network in partnership with facilities famous for sports rehabilitation.
After the accident, Woods underwent bone fracture joint surgery at the Harbor-California University of Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center, a first-class trauma treatment hospital, but moved to Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on the 25th.
CNN said, “Tiger Woods is now beginning a hard recovery process. The reason for Woods’ move is not disclosed, but facilities affiliated with Cedars Sinai Hospital are renowned for sports medicine and related surgery.”
The medical staff here work in partnership with sports teams in the Los Angeles area. Professional players from other parts of the United States also undergo surgery here, CNN said.
The California Rehabilitation Institute, which has partnered with Sinus Sinai and UCLA Health and Select Medical, also offers programs for recovering patients.
