It is customary for professional golf players to avoid clothes of the same color. Especially, if they are organized in the same group, they are reluctant to have similar shirt colors.

However, the final round of the World Golf Championship (WGC) Workday Championship, the US Professional Golf (PGA) Puerto Rico Open, and the American Women’s Professional Golf (LPGA) Tour Gainbridge LPGA final round was different.

There were overflowing players wearing black bottoms and red shirts as if they had promised.

The black bottom and red shirt are what Tiger Woods (USA) wears during the final round of the competition.

If Woods plays, no one wears black pants and a red shirt for the final round.

The fashion of black bottoms and red shirts overflowing with the course on this day is a message of support for the recovery of Woods, who was seriously injured in a traffic accident and returning to the field.

Golf Week reported that it was a’homage’ to Woods. In art and literature,’homage’ refers to the reproduction of works and authors respected.

The top players in the world rankings such as Justin Thomas (USA), Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), and Jason Day (Australia) all wore black pants and red shirts.

Workday Championship defending champions Patrick Reed (US), Tony Pinau (US) and Tommy Fleetwood (England) also competed in black trousers and red shirts.

Scotty Schaeffler and Jason Cocrack (above America) were also wearing red shirts and black pants.

McIlroy, Schaeffler, Reed, and Cochrack were among the top ten at the Workday Championship.

Cameron Champ (USA), a black and white mixed race, also reproduced Woods’ final round fashion.

McIlroy and Reid played in the same group. Fleetwood and Champ also played together.

It’s hard to see a world-class player wearing the same clothes and playing in the same group, but it became a common sight on this day.

Annika Sorenstam (Sweden), who entered the LPGA Tour competition after 13 years, wore a black skirt and a red shirt and went to the final round to convey her special feelings for Woods.

Sorenstam’s caddy, husband Mike McGee and son Will, were in the same fashion.

Not only the athletes, but also the event organizers and spectators wore black bottoms and red shirts to pray for Woods’ recovery.

All the officials of the Puerto Rico Open on this day wore red shirts and black pants.

Many of the visitors with limited admission also appeared on the course in the same fashion.

Bryson DeChambo (USA) played the final round with a ball inscribed with’TIGER’. Dishambo and Woods are the same Bridgestone Ball contractors.

Woods expressed gratitude for this support.

Through the Tiger Woods Foundation Twitter, Woods said, “I was very impressed when I saw the sight of wearing a red shirt all over after turning on the TV today. “It will be a great help to overcome adversity,” he said, saying, “Thank you to the players and fans.”
