“Three of LH employees, allegedly suspected of pre-speculation, worked at Gwangmyeong Siheung Headquarters”

Three of the employees of the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) who are suspected of speculation in Siheung New Town, Gwangmyeong, have been found to have worked at the Gwangmyeong Siheung headquarters.

There is a high possibility that private profits were obtained by using internal information obtained during the job, and voices that a thorough truth-finding should be conducted are expected to increase.

According to the data submitted by LH to Congressman Eun-hye Kim, the power of the people on the 12th, three of the employees who were suspicious of speculation in Siheung District in Gwangmyeong, including Mr. Kim, Mr.

Among them, Mr. Kim and Mr. Kang worked at the Gwangmyeong Siheung Headquarters from 2010 to 2015 and were in charge of practical affairs at the time of designation of the Bogeumjari district.

From February 2013 to January 2014, Mr. Kim served as a manager at the Gwangmyeong Siheung Headquarters, overseeing the affairs of the department. He is a confirmed person who purchased the land (2,739㎡) in Guarim-dong, Siheung City, on June 27, 2019 with his wife.

Kang was in charge of land compensation at Gwangmyeong Siheung Headquarters from February 2013 to February 2015.

Rep. Kim emphasized, “Mr. Kang was actually the executive in charge of the district’s land compensation business, and at the same time he was a compensation expert who had been in charge of land compensation from 2010 to last year.

He purchased a field (5,25㎡) in Guarim-dong, Siheung-si, with other LH employees and owns a stake with his wife.

Park worked at the Gwangmyeong Siheung Business Headquarters from January 2019 to February last year.

From January 2015 to January 2019, he was in charge of overseeing the affairs of his affiliated group at the Gwacheon Business Division at the Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters. He purchased a field in Mujinae-dong, Siheung-si (5,905㎡) with other LH employees.

As these three people are involved in the core business of Gwangmyeong Siheung District, it is likely that they knew in advance that Gwangmyeong Siheung District will be included in the third new city.

In addition, they were found to have been in charge of overseeing their respective groups or in charge of compensation at the Gwacheon project group from 2015 to last year.

Rep. Kim analyzed that “it will be a key axis that provided information to the Gwacheon Project Division’s speculation cartel,” which includes 8 out of 13 employees suspected of pre-speculation.

Rep. Kim said, “In a situation where the core condition of punishment is whether or not publicly obtained information was used for private interest, their career at Gwangmyeong Siheung Headquarters will be an important clue.” This analysis shows well the process of speculative crime in which residents are deprived of their assets and future without knowing the English language.”

Rep. Kim added, “If the Moon Jae-in administration leaves the election and has a true willingness to take a stand, the justification for the prosecution’s investigation to control the flow of land and money has become even more clear.
