The Korean Central News Agency reported that the 75th anniversary celebration of the founding of the North Korean Workers Party was held at Kim Il-sung Square in Pyongyang on October 10. Pyongyang = Chosun Central News Agency Yonhap News

Recently, thousands of people gathered at Kim Il-sung Square in Pyongyang, North Korea, was captured through satellite photographs.

US media outlet 38 North released a satellite image taken in Pyongyang on the 26th (local time) and reported that “it is presumed to be practicing for the upcoming event.”

In the satellite image released by 38 North, the participants formed a formation and made red letters called’Society Ongwi’ on a white background. The advocacy of association means to support and escort the top leaders with all their strength.

38 North analyzed that the rehearsal was related to the 8th Labor Party Congress scheduled for January next year. He said, “This political message is common in party conventions,” he said. “It takes practice to make writing at the perfect timing.”

38 North previously reported that an unknown structure appears to have been erected in Kim Il-sung Square on the 18th. He explained that the structure on that day remained intact on the west side of the plaza surrounded by high walls. It is not known what kind of structure it is, but the rehearsal took place around the structure.
