On the IOC website, Chairman Bach said, “I am sincerely grateful for the overwhelming vote. When I was first elected through the Buenos Aires General Assembly in 2013, I would like to lead the IOC and become a chairman for all stakeholders in line with the unification of diversity. “This promise applies to my second and last term as well. My ears and heart are open to you, one person and another.”

Chairman Bach’s immediate task is the Tokyo Summer Olympics, which kicks off on July 23rd. According to foreign media, on that day, Chairman Bach dismissed the rumors of cancellation of the Tokyo Olympics and declared the holding of the summit. During his tenure as Chairman Bach, the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics are scheduled to be held. After that, the 2026 Milan-Cortina d’Ampezzo Winter Olympics and the 2028 LA Summer Olympics will be held.

On the IOC website, Chairman Bach said, “I want to continue to achieve ambitious goals with you in Corona 19. If we unite in the Corona 19 crisis, we can meet the Olympic slogan’Faster, Higher, Stronger’.”
