Dankook University High School and Hwaseong High School, which ranked the highest among general high schools with a joint 19th place last year, were pushed down to 32nd and 35th, respectively.
The highest ranking for general high schools also fell 8 places from 19th last year to 27th this year (Seoul, Naksaeng, Sangmungo).
Some analysts say that excellent students have had difficulty in entrance exams due to the Corona 19 incident and the class was not properly conducted.
In an interview with the Chosun Ilbo, Rep. Jung said, “The gap in academic ability between general high schools and special-purpose high schools, self-accidents, etc. deepened by the coronavirus has been confirmed.” Said.
On the other hand, the ranking of students admitted to Seoul National University for special, gifted, and self-accidents excluding general high schools is: Seoul Arts High School (74 students), Seoul Science High School (68 students), Yongin Foreign University High School (60 students), Gyeonggi Science High School (53 students), Hana High School (46 students), Daewon Foreign Language High School (43 students), Daejeon Science High School (43 students), and so on.
