At the time, both political members complained to the United States that “we should not interfere with China’s internal affairs.” He continued to criticize the US for mentioning Xinjiang Uighur, Hong Kong, and Taiwan issues without a break for 15 minutes, which was over two minutes agreed in advance.
The interpreter Jang is evaluated for smoothly interpreting even in a fresh atmosphere. When both political committee members refuted the comments from the United States and continued to speak for 24 minutes, they responded calmly.

Interpreter Zhang began to make his name known while serving as an interpreter at the 2013 National People’s Congress and the Annual Meeting of the People’s Political Council in Beijing.
Born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, he graduated from Hangzhou Foreign Language School in 2003 and studied English at the Chinese University of Foreign Studies. After graduation, he was officially employed as an interpreter in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2007.
