Former Soka CEO Jae-woong Lee, who founded the portal site Daum, publicly cheered for candidate Shin Ji-ye, an independent Mayor of Seoul.
On the 2nd, on Facebook, former CEO Lee said, “This re-election will support the youngest candidates,” with Shin Sang-woo, Mirae Party Mayor of Busan, and Choi Ji-seon, Mirae Party’s Song Pa-gu.
“It’s not just because they’re young, but the three candidates represent the future values well,” said former CEO Lee. “Should I vote for the candidates from the vested generation who are compelling to elect themselves because they can’t choose another until when?” He added, “The generation who is now the biggest victim of the vested rights generation and who has lost their voice of the future in which they will live more must give them the opportunity to paint themselves.”
In particular, former CEO Lee mentioned his past interview, saying, “I think the mayor of Seoul, who has the right to vote, should become a new candidate.” Candidate Shin said, “Women and people with disabilities, LGBTQ people, the elderly and the unemployed, and those who speak out about animal rights and climate crisis should be in solidarity vertically and horizontally.” There is a bar.
Lee emphasized, “I try to vote for the candidates who should be, rather than vote for the candidates who should be, and for the candidates who should not be.”
After joining the Green Party in 2012, Candidate Shin was engaged in social enterprise activities, but in 2016 he challenged the first elected politician as a proportional representative candidate of the Green Party. In 2018, it attracted attention with the banner of’feminist mayor of Seoul’.
In this re-election, he threw out votes with six vice mayoral candidates under the name’Team Seoul’. Candidate Shin plans to implement a policy to support the lives of citizens and reorganize the space with the carbon limit line in response to the climate crisis and the living standard line in response to inequality as the main axis.
