Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) drew 1-1 against Barcelona in the 2nd leg of the 2020-21 European Football Federation (UEFA) Champions League Round of 16 held on the 11th (Korean time).

Since PSG won 4-1 in the first leg away, they reached the quarterfinals with a total of 5-2 in the first and second games. Barcelona were eliminated in the round of 16.

The strikers of both teams that received the most spotlight in the match on the day were Killian Mbafe (PSG) and Lionel Messi (Barcelona). But what’s interesting is that Mbappe’s jersey was not replaced by Messi after the game.

British’Mirror’ published an article titled “Mbappe didn’t choose Messi as his uniform exchange after the game.” The opponent Mbafe changed his jersey was Barcelona’s 19-year-old midfielder Pedri.

Pedri started starting this day, but was replaced by Pianic in the 33rd minute of the second half. He approached Mbaba-fe and changed his uniform when Mba-fe came out of the ground after the game. Since it was already replaced, he was wearing a Pedriman mask.

Spain’s’Movista’ told the story of what happened through Pedri’s interview. “I asked Mbappe to exchange the uniforms during the game, and he answered that he knew,” Pedri said, and said that Pedri had virtually’wanted’ the exchange of uniforms.

“Mbappe is a player with tremendous talent and a future,” said Pedri. But, at least to get to the level of the mesh, there is still a way to go.”
He also said, “I knew that today’s game is difficult to win, but I did my best. The goal of winning the league still remains. We will do it. “We are Barcelona.”
