A’chimera cat’ with a unique appearance, divided in half on one face, is attracting attention. The cat, named “Apricot,” was found between the walls of a house in Tennessee in the southern United States, according to a report by the Daily Mail, a British daily newspaper on the 4th (local time). Fortunately, it was transferred to a cat shelter shortly after discovery.

The shelter staff were amazed to see the kittens’ faces divided into two different colors. These cats are also called’chimeric cats’. The’chimeric cat’ is known as a genetic phenomenon that occurs when two types of DNA are mixed in the mother’s stomach.

The shelter announced that it plans to send a new family for adoption after the’chimeric cat’ apricot regains stability.
