[아시아경제 나한아 기자] In the non-face-to-face era due to the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19), an unusual case of a wedding online video has occurred.

John Morris, who lives in Wellington, New Zealand, had a video wedding with Daisy Keyinglet, who appeared wearing a veil at a hotel wedding hall in the Philippines, more than 8,000 km from his apartment, two days ago, New Zealand media stuff reported on the 9th.

The wedding service company in Utah, USA, was in charge of the officiating, and guests watched the wedding online in the UK, Dubai, and Australia. The media reported that relatives shed tears as they watched the groom greet the new bride at the age of twilight.

Morris is 63 years old and Kaneglett is 40 years old, and they are said to have first met on Facebook a year ago by an acquaintance. Morris met Kaneglet online, but he moved to the Philippines a month later and proposed to marry, the media said.

Morris said, “At that time, because Corona 19 was already showing up, I knew I couldn’t go back to see you in the near future. So I took a ring and proposed to marry and I got approval.”

He then tried several times to bring Keyinglet to New Zealand, but the plan did not come true due to the spread of Corona 19.

“If the bride doesn’t come to New Zealand until next year when she can apply for a pension, she will move to the Philippines and have her wedding again at church,” said Morris, a station attendant.
