Special high school and freelancers who received the 1st and 2nd emergency employment stabilization subsidies receive an additional subsidy of 500,000 won without a separate review. Supporting funds for small business owners will also be provided with detailed support standards.

■Apply for special advisory and freelance support funds by the 11th

According to the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups on the 6th, the government receives priority applications for the 3rd job security support from the website of the Emergency Employment Security Support Fund from 9 am to 6 pm on the 11th. This means that the third disaster support payment procedure began in earnest after the resolution of the purpose of preliminary expenditure for the third disaster support payment at the Cabinet meeting on the 5th.

Earlier, on December 29, the government announced that it would provide a total of 9.3 trillion won in disaster assistance to 5.8 million people, including small businessmen and special high schools, who were damaged by Corona 19. Small business owners whose sales have declined due to distance-distance measures will be provided with a support fund of up to 3 million won, and special high school and freelancers will receive a maximum of 1 million won in employment security support.

Anyone who has not subscribed to employment insurance as of December 24 of last year can apply for a special freelancer who received the first and second job security subsidies. The 3rd employment stabilization subsidy is first paid 500,000 won to 650,000 people who previously received the subsidy. Payment will be made to the account created at the time of application.

Special notices and freelancers who do not have their own mobile phone, or who cannot authenticate themselves on the website due to reasons such as an error in their resident registration number, foreigners, or change of name, can apply for support by visiting the nearest employment center after bringing a copy of their ID card and bankbook on the 8th and 11th. . Even if the application is not made within the period, it is considered as an application and the support fund is paid to the previously registered account number.

Special advisors and freelancers who have not received the 1st and 2nd rounds of support will receive applications in February. This target is for 50,000 people whose annual income is less than 50 million won and whose income in December last year or January this year decreased by more than 25% compared to the annual average of last year or December 2019. New applicants are expected to receive a support fund of 1 million won in February and March after examination.

■Small business owner support fund business announcement

A plan to pay support funds to small business owners will be announced on the 6th.

Supporting funds are paid 3 million won and 2 million won respectively to small business owners who are prohibited from collective or restricted business due to government quarantine measures, and 1 million won is provided to general small business owners with annual sales of less than 400 million won, whose sales have decreased. The total payment amount is 4,100 billion won. Small business owners who have previously received the second new desired fund can receive support from the 11th by simply applying without a separate review.

The government is planning to inform detailed implementation plans such as application standards, text message schedule, and application procedures through the project announcement. Interest is focused on the starting date, which is the standard for support. In the case of the existing 2nd subsidy, controversy has been raised as there have been cases in which the subsidy cannot be received due to the need for a minimum period of business maintenance.
