It was found that about 85% of the subjects of priority vaccination for 24 days after the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) vaccination began in Korea, completed the first vaccination.

The Corona 19 Vaccination Response Promotion Team (Promotion Team) announced that the cumulative number of vaccinations who completed the first vaccination as of 0 o’clock on the 22nd was counted as 676,000.

There was no new primary inoculation the day before. However, the cumulative number of inoculations slightly increased as the vaccinators on the 17th and 19th completed registration late.

This is the level of 84.6% of the 799,000,981 people who receive priority vaccination from February to March.

Compared to the domestic population (52 million), the vaccination rate is 1.30%.

Of the total vaccinated people, 619,000 people received the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine, and 57,507 people received the Pfizer vaccine.

Currently, the government is vaccinating AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines at the initial volume.

Both vaccines require two doses. The AstraZeneca vaccine is given a second dose every 10 weeks and the Pfizer vaccine is given every 3 weeks.

In the case of the Pfizer vaccine, the second vaccination began on the 20th for workers in the Corona 19 treatment hospital.

There were 280 people who received the second vaccination the day before. By region, there were 234 in Seoul, 25 in Gyeonggi and 21 in Incheon.

The cumulative number of 2nd Pfizer vaccinations was 593, and they formed antibodies after 2 weeks.

The promotion team aggregates and announces the status of vaccinations and adverse reactions as of 0 o’clock every day. If the vaccination agency is late to register the vaccination information or vaccination history to the computer, there may be a slight difference in the number of vaccinations per day and the vaccination rate.
