Model Y consists of three trims: Standard Range, Long Range, and Performance. In Korea, it is expected to be released in two trims, long range and performance first. Long-range trim has completed the mileage certification in Korea, and with a single charge, it reaches a maximum of 511 km, exceeding the model 3 long range trim mileage of 496 km.

In Korea, the success or failure of Model Y is likely to depend on pricing. Starting this year, the government has decided to pay subsidies for electric vehicles differently according to vehicle prices, attracting attention how the Model Y price will be formed. For vehicles of 60 million to 90 million won, about 4 million won, which is 50% of the existing subsidy, is paid, and vehicles price of 90 million won or more are excluded from the subsidy.
Considering that the current model 3 domestic launch price is around 55 million to 75 million won, the model Y price is expected to be set higher than this. As for the price range, the performance is highest in the order of standard range, long range and performance trim.
