In an obstetrics and gynecology department in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do, a drunk doctor was suspicious of the death of a baby after performing a cesarean section, and the police launched an investigation.

On the 22nd, the Heungdeok Police Station in Cheongju confirmed that Dr. A, who performed the operation, was drinking alcohol, and said that it is investigating whether or not a medical law is violated. The same fact was posted on the Blue House National Petition Board the day before, saying,’Please punish the doctor and hospital for the murderer who killed my son who had ten months. It was known when a post titled’I am a mother who lost a baby in her stomach due to a drinking operation by her doctor’ was posted. Petitioner A was lucky, “I’m a mother with a five-month-old daughter. If this hadn’t happened, I would have been a twin mother with a five-month-old daughter and a son.” Cheong Won-in said, “Suddenly, the amniotic fluid burst and came to the hospital, but the attending physician A was on hold, and the on-call doctor said,’The child is in good condition and can give birth naturally.’ “I heard that the child’s heartbeat in the stomach was not confirmed.”

Mr. A’s cesarean section was handled by his doctor, Mr. At the time, Mr. A claimed that Mr. B ran into the operating room with a stinky smell of alcohol at the time. Mr. A said, “After the surgery, the police officer took a drink measurement for Mr. B, who stumbled, and he was drunk.” “I did!” he said, “I lost what I could say.”

The police first confirmed that Mr. A was drinking. At that time, the blood alcohol concentration of Mr. A confirmed by the police who dispatched after receiving a report from his family, etc. is 0.01%. The police applied the Widmark formula and confirmed that he drove directly to the hospital with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.038% and charged him for drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act.

The police also requested an appraisal from the Korea Medical Dispute Mediation and Arbitration Agency and the Korean Medical Association to determine whether there was a medical accident. A police official said, “We have confirmed that Mr. A drove himself to the hospital while drinking alcohol, but the medical accident is still being investigated.”

Meanwhile, the hospital is reported to be refuting that “the petitioner’s claim is different.”
