China is a’plastic surgery powerhouse’ with 20 million plastic surgery surgeons annually. It is the third highest level after the United States and Brazil.
As a result, side effects also follow. On the 25th, Japanese publishing company Kodansha’s online magazine’Kurier Zapon’ reported the situation through a 16-year-old Chinese girl whose memory continued to decline due to the aftereffects of repeated plastic surgery.
The girl’s name is Zhou Chuna (周楚娜·16). He received plastic surgery for the first time at the age of 13, and it is said that he received more than 100 treatments over three years, spending more than 4 million yuan (about 670 million won).

Last year, he also released the’Jung Yong (整容, meaning plastic surgery in Chinese) diary,’ which introduced his plastic surgery experience. He has 310,000 followers on social network service (SNS) under the title of’China’s youngest, most plastic surgery enthusiasts’.
He is said to have been hurt and started plastic surgery when boys used degrading nicknames as a child and degraded their appearance.
Since then, he has repeatedly performed body surgery such as an incision in the eyelids, nose surgery through auricular cartilage transplantation, and breast enlargement through autologous fat injection.
Parents are perplexed by their daughter’s dependence on plastic surgery. However, Zhou said, “If you can’t solve my appearance problems, just agree to the surgery,” he said, and he has agreed so far.
Zhou attended a private international school in Shanghai, attended by wealthy Chinese, and rumors have been circulating that he was expelled from school because he was frequently absent from school and was unable to fill the number of school days for surgery.
As he relied heavily on surgery, he had various side effects.
He is said to have suffered from symptoms of memory loss as he repeatedly received massive anesthetics with each operation. “Frequent plastic surgery can cause side effects such as memory impairment and cognitive dysfunction,” Curie Zapon said.
I didn’t listen to the doctor’s instructions. After surgery, I had to refrain from wearing contact lenses for at least 1 month, but I wore lenses and put on dark makeup. It was to appear at an event in Beijing. As the eyes were overworked, cleansing ingredients etc. were introduced into the eyes, which greatly reduced the eyesight.
