On the 13th, at the end of the Lunar New Year holiday, the congestion on the highway is gradually getting better. Traffic in the sections that showed traffic congestion on major highways is getting better.

According to the Korea Expressway Corporation, based on the departure of the tollgate at 10 p.m. on this day, the estimated time from major cities to Seoul is △4 hours and 30 minutes in Busan △4 hours and 10 minutes in Ulsan △2 hours and 40 minutes in Gangneung △1 hour and 50 minutes in Yangyang (arrival to Namyangju) ) △ 1 hour 30 minutes in Daejeon △ 3 hours 20 minutes in Gwangju △ 3 hours 40 minutes in Mokpo △ 3 hours 30 minutes in Daegu.

At the same time, the estimated time taken by car from Seoul to major cities in the region is △4 hours and 30 minutes in Busan △ 4 hours and 10 minutes in Ulsan △ 2 hours and 40 minutes in Gangneung △ 1 hour and 50 minutes in Yangyang (from Namyangju) △ 1 hour and 30 minutes in Daejeon △ Gwangju 3 hours 20 minutes △ Mokpo 3 hours 40 minutes △ Daegu 3 hours 30 minutes.

Currently, in the direction of Seoul of the Gyeongbu Line, congestion continues in the vicinity of Yangjae and Banpo km, the Anseong service area and the 6 km section near Osan, the Anseong and Anseong junction, and the 3 km section near the Cheongju service area.

From the Gyeongbu Line to Busan, all sections except for the 1km section from Jamwon to Banpo are smooth.

In the direction of Seoul on the West Coast Line, cars are not speeding up in the vicinity of Geumcheon, the 4km section near the Hwaseong Rest Area, and the 8km section near the Seohae Bridge.

On this day, 3.85 million vehicles are expected to use the highway in the country.

It is predicted that there will be 320,000 vehicles leaving the metropolitan area and 390,000 vehicles entering the metropolitan area.

The congestion on the expressway towards Seoul is expected to continue until around 12 p.m. in some areas.
