The exchange of oral letters between North Korean President Kim Jong-un and Chinese President Xi Jinping, an official journalist of the Korean Federation of Koreans in Japan, evaluated it as “an important point of strengthening the cooperation between the two countries.”

Earlier, Chairman Kim notified President Xi of the results of the 8th Congress of the Labor Party and announced that “the two countries will strengthen unity and cooperation by coping with the all-round challenges of hostile forces and countermeasures.”

President Xi also expressed his intention to actively intervene in the situation on the Korean Peninsula, saying that he would solidify relations between the two countries through an oral letter, and also expressed his intention to support the North Korean economy.
