When the police closed the suspicion of sexual harassment by the late Mayor Park Won-soon empty-handed after five months of investigation, the aides, including the chief of the secretary of Mayor Park, announced that it was a natural result. They also expressed anger at the attitude of accepting only the victim’s arguments.

Oh Seong-gyu, former Seoul city secretary’s office, said on the 29th, “The police’s disposition of nonprosecution is a very natural decision.” He said, “It has been confirmed that the former and current secretary office employees who worked with Mayor Park have never been complained of sexual violence, contrary to the claims of victims, lawyer Kim Jae-ryun, and some women’s organizations, and have never ignored requests for telegrams to avoid sexual violence.” Insisted.

“After Mayor Park’s death, the accusers, accusers, lawyers, and some women’s organizations stigmatized the former and current secretary’s office staff as a’tolerant helper’ of sexual violence.” I suffered bloody tears as I received it,” he added.

In addition, former secretary chief Oh said, “The small appeal for the pain was also bombarded with a carpet bomb called’second attack’. Rather than trying to confirm the reality and truth of the case, it unilaterally accepted the victim’s claim under the name of’victim-centeredism’. I feel terrible and angry with my attitude,” he said.

He also said about the continued allegation of sexual violence from Mayor Park that the victim has argued, “As it turned out that the condence and aid were not true, the allegation of sexual violence over four years is also strongly questionable.”

Former secretary chief Kim Joo-myeong also said, “It is a natural result,” he said. “We have consistently argued that the victim’s claim does not correspond to the facts we have experienced, and that the allegation of aiding itself cannot be established.”

He added that “the prosecution will be faithfully investigated and will actively cooperate in uncovering the substantive truth about this case.”

Jeon Oh assisted Mayor Park as the Secretary’s Office from June 2018 to April 2020, and from March 2017 to June 2018.
