The 4th disaster support fund up to 6.5 million won

Hong Ik-pyo “There is no review for additional symptoms

Up to 6.5 million won can be provided to small business owners and self-employed as the 4th disaster support fund, along with the Democratic Party’s Policy Committee Chairman Hong Ik-pyo said on the 1st.

Chairman Hong explained the details of the 4th disaster support in an interview with MBC radio that day, saying, “We have increased the funding for the crutch a little and diversified the section.”

5 million won is paid to businesses that have been banned from business, 4 million won to those that have been banned from business, and 3 million won to businesses that have been restricted from operating.

One million to two million won is paid to the general industry.

Separately, additional support for electricity bills of up to 1.5 million won will be provided.

Regarding the support for street vendors, Chairman Hong explained that “about 40,000 registered street vendors managed by local governments are supported.”

Criticism of’supporting street vendors who don’t even pay tax’ was “a very malicious frame,” he refuted, saying, “It is not because someone paid the tax, but that we will apply first to the most difficult people in the social community.”

Of the 15 trillion won in the supplementary budget, 9 trillion won is raised through government bonds.

The remaining 5.1 trillion won will be secured with world surplus of 2.6 trillion won, BOK surplus of 800 billion won, and funding of 1.7 trillion won.

Chairman Hong said, “Currently, we are not reviewing the symptoms related to this supplementary administration.”

On the other hand, regarding the Loss Compensation Act (amendment to the Protection and Support Act for Small Business Owners), he said, “I hope the bill will pass by the National Assembly within March,” and “We are planning to put it into effect from July 1 with a three-month probation.”

“It applies retroactively from the day it was proclaimed, so if the bill passes on March 30th, it will take effect from then.”
