In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the late Chung Ju-young, the honorary chairman of Hyundai Group, the interior of the old home of Cheong Undong in Seoul was revealed.

On the 21st, Hyundai Motor Group released a photo of Honorary Chairman Chung’s old home.

His rite was held here on the 20th. The ceremony was attended by Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Eui-sun Eui-sun, Asan Nanum Foundation Chairman Chung Mong-joon, Hyundai Maritime Chairman Chung Mong-yoon, CEO Chung Mong-il (formerly Hyundai Corporate Finance), and Hyundai Group Chairman Hyun Jeong-eun.

They are reported to have been performing rituals sequentially by dividing time zones according to the corona quarantine guidelines.

The old home was where Honorary Chairman Chung lived for 38 years. Currently, Chairman Chung Mong-koo, the grandson of the Hyundai Motor Group, was inherited by the honorary chairman of Hyundai Motor Group.

In the photo of the old house released on this day, the honorary chairman Chung and his wife, Ms. Jung-seok Byeon, are hung side by side. On the other side is the spirit of Mrs. Han Sung-sil, the mother of Honorary Chairman Chung. On the rocks seen from the yard, the words “Yangsan Dongcheon” and “Namgeoyugeo” are engraved.

On the other hand, it is known that before and after the due date every year, the visits to Seonyeong in Changu-dong, Hanam-si, Hanam, Gyeonggi-do, were conducted by the families of the Pan-Hyundai family and group employees.
