According to the Binfruit Daily, Taiwanese health authorities said that the first 110 Taiwanese tour groups departed for Palau on the 1st of next month due to the implementation of the Travel Bubble the day before.

“In order to travel to Palau, you must not have a history of leaving the country within 6 months, and you are not subject to notification of self-isolation, etc. from the health authorities within 2 months, and you are confirmed within 3 months. It shouldn’t have been,” he said.

He explained that after arriving in Palau and before returning home from Palau, PCR (gene amplification) testing is exempt, and when returning to Taiwan, it is necessary to undergo self-isolation for 5 days without self-isolation, and then carry out PCR testing at your own expense.

In addition, when arriving in Palau, follow the five quarantine principles, such as “group tour without individual trips, travel itinerary separated from locals, boarding and alighting of travelers at designated places, staying in accommodation certified by the Palau authorities, and eating in a dedicated area.” It must be observed,” he emphasized.

Qi Wen-jung, deputy minister of the Ministry of Transportation of Taiwan, said, “Tourists to Palau can only depart if they arrive at the airport 5 hours before boarding the plane and have a negative PCR test result.”

“In the beginning, China Airlines’ Boeing 738 airliner will depart every Thursday and Sunday with 110 passengers each.”

In addition, the itinerary will be decided in two ways: 3 nights 4 days and 4 nights 5 days, and the travel cost will be decided after discussion with the travel agency.
