Taewook Kim, former SBS announcer dies

Former SBS announcer Kim Tae-wook died at home. The former announcer Kim is the younger brother of the late actor Kim Ja-ok, who passed away in November 2014.

According to SBS on the 5th, former announcer Kim died at home the day before. The cause of death has not been confirmed at this time.

Former announcer Kim started broadcasting life as a public announcement announcer at CBS in 1987. After that, he passed the KBS 16th public loan announcer in 1989. In 1991, he moved to SBS’s 1st term public announcement announcer.

Former announcer Kim worked as a freelancer after retiring from retirement last year. He continued the SBS radio’Kim Tae-wook’s Pleasant Night’, which started in 2009 (every day from 0 a.m. to 2 p.m.) until the last 4 days.

He said, “Thank you for staying with us until late today. Spend this night comfortably. While listening to Chi-Hwan Ahn’s’I love today’, I greet Kim Tae-wook on a pleasant night. All of you will be fine.”

On the 5th’Kim Tae-wook’s Pleasant Night’ early morning broadcast, announcer Ki-Hwan Choi proceeded on behalf of former announcer Kim. On the listener’s bulletin board, “Where is Tae-wook?”, “Can’t you simply tell me why you are absent?”, “Where are you sick? I’m worried” and other messages were posted asking how to say hello to former announcer Kim.

SBS mourned the deceased by posting a phrase on the homepage of Kim Tae-wook’s Pleasant Night, “Please refrain from and wish the deceased a blessing.”
