It was confirmed on the 18th that SK Group Chairman Choi Tae-won opened an account for’Club House’, a social network service (SNS) that has recently attracted attention.
Clubhouse is an SNS where several people gather in an open room to chat with voice, and it is a method of signing up through an invitation. If you look at the profile page of Chairman Choi’s clubhouse, it is said that he was invited by the chairman of the T&C Foundation, Kim Hee-young, a partner.
Chairman Choi is known to actively communicate with executives and employees through in-house broadcasts and open conversations called’Happiness Talk’, so it is noteworthy whether he will use another method of communication through the clubhouse in the future.
Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong, Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Eui-sun Eui, and LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo are also likely to use the clubhouse in the future for conversations with business people who have been close to meetings.
In March, he will also be officially appointed as president of the Korea Chamber of Commerce, an economic organization representing the business world, so Chairman Choi can actively utilize the clubhouse to share current issues with key business leaders.
Meanwhile, on the 19th, Chairman Choi is scheduled to announce a welcome remark at the event’The Future of Battery Technology’, a webinar hosted by Choi Jong-Hyun Academy on the 19th.
This seminar is attended by Professor Whittingham of the Department of Chemistry at New York State University, who won the 2019 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, and discusses battery technology with Korean scholars.
An official from SK Group said, “This webinar is an event that has been prepared since last year, and Chairman Choi, as Chairman of the Academy of Sciences Choi Jong-Hyun, will give comments centering on welcome words.”
