‘Sweet Home’ Lee Si-young confessed that he made a harsh body to complete the character.
Actress Lee Si-young said in an interview with Netflix’Sweet Home’ on the 23rd, “I removed up to 8% of body fat for the exposure scene that appeared in the confrontation scene with the spider monster in the play.”
‘Sweet Home’ is an original Netflix series that deals with the bizarre stories of various residents in the background of an old apartment green home where ordinary people live. It was based on a popular webtoon of the same name, and directed by director Lee Eung-bok, who hits’Descendants of the Sun’,’Ghost’ and’Mr.
Lee Si-young showed a different level of action by playing Lee Kyung, a firefighter who was a special fighter. Lee Kyung-eun has been living alone in a green home after losing her husband. Whenever there is a threat, they are the first to throw themselves and judge the situation faster than anyone else. It is playing the role of a green home leader, which is indispensable for survival.
In order to play Lee Kyung, Lee Si-young reduced body fat by 8% and completed a different level of muscle. It is said that he showed perfect acting while practicing in action school 6 months before filming.
Lee Si-young said, “There was no one who decided to lose body fat by how much, but the trainer said,’You need to lose about 8 to 9% in order to see the muscles,’ and started with that goal.” I ate, and I adjusted my diet according to the filming.”
He added, “I started restricting my diet two weeks ago, and during those two weeks it was really hard.”
