K-League 1 Suwon Samsung signed a contract with Choi Jeong-won from Japan’s J2 League Faziano Okayama on the 11th. The contract term is two years, until 2022.

With the signing of left-footed defender Choi Jeong-won, Suwon has built a strong central defense line with Min Sang-sang and Henry. Choi Jeong-won is 186cm tall, and is regarded as a strong point for his high RBI and wide range of defense.

Choi Jung-won said, “I am honored to join Suwon Samsung, which has been my goal since childhood,” and said, “As I joined the most prestigious K-League club, I will show an activity that suits Suwon.”

Choi Jeong-won, who was a member of Konkuk University in 2017, participated in the 14th Denso Cup Hanil University regular selection, and won the MVP of the competition. As a result of this, he joined Paziano Okayama in the 2018 J2 League and recorded one help in 48 games over three years.

Choi Jeong-won, who has returned from Japan, has now completed self-isolation, and is planning to join the team on the 13th and leave the Jeju field training.
