US President Joe Biden (78) visited former Republican Republican Bob Dole (97), who was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, on the 20th (local time), reported on the 21st by the Associated Press and CNN.

President Biden and former lawmaker Dol have different political parties, but they have been eating Korean pot rice for 24 years in the Senate.

On the 18th, former lawmaker Dol posted a post on Twitter to announce that he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.

“I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, and my first treatment is on the 22nd,” he said. “There are many obstacles to overcome, but I also know that I am with millions of people suffering from serious health problems.”

Former Congressman Dol has been fighting the disease for the past 30 years.

He underwent surgery for prostate cancer in 1991 and an abdominal aortic aneurysm in 2001.

In 2005, former Congressman Dol collapsed at his home and was hospitalized.
