Former baseball national team coach Seon Dong-yeol visited LG Champions Park in Icheon, where LG’s spring camp is held on the 15th, and gave a one-point lesson while watching LG pitchers’ bullpen pitching.

This is the fourth and last visit to LG Spring Camp by former director Seon Dong-yeol. As a’pitching expert’, former coach Seon Dong-yeol, who has been watching the bullpen pitching of LG pitchers and has not spared detailed advice, liberally’released’ know-how to LG pitchers on this day as well.

Former manager Seon Dong-yeol said, “I come to the field and talk to young players about what I studied last year, so I can talk better with each other. It seems to be easy to understand. I learned and talked about the latest terms used in the major leagues rather than using old terms. It was easier to get closer,” he said.

In the eyes of former manager Seon Dong-yeol, who stood out among LG pitchers? “Looking at young pitchers, there are quite a lot of good pitchers,” said Seon Dong-yeol, who said, “I saw Lee Min-ho on TV last year and he threw really well. Lee Jung-yong, Lee Chan-hyuk, Nam-ho, and Sohn Ju-young, etc.. “I like the vertical movement because I throw the ball in balance.”

Especially for Lee Min-ho, he said that there is a possibility to grow into a’big pitcher’. Former coach Seon Dong-yeol said, “I have been a professional high school graduate in my second year, and if I was that age, I would have been nervous and couldn’t even practice properly, but as I watched Minho throw the ball in a balanced manner as planned, I felt that he had enough qualities to become a top pitcher. Even when viewed from relay, he pitches aggressively. He does not avoid hitters and takes the ball count to an advantage and does not overdo the ball. I think there is a possibility to grow.”

Former coach Seon Dong-yeol is now planning to go to the captain and give a one-point lesson at KT Spring Camp. KT attracts attention because there is So-Jun Sohn, who won the rookie king last year. Former manager Seon Dong-yeol laughed, “I have to go and see it myself, but I don’t think 20-year-olds are throwing. It was like a middle-aged pitcher.”

This visit to LG Spring Camp was also a meaningful time for former manager Seon Dong-yeol. “I think I’m here to learn. I’m grateful that Ryu Ji-hyun and Director Cha Myung-seok gave me such a time. It seems like I was able to verify the theory and the field,” said former director Seon Dong-yeol.

Former coach Seon Dong-yeol plans to publish baseball-related books in the future and plans to study theory. “I’m thinking about the time to donate talent to youth when I have the opportunity,” said former coach Seon Dong-yeol, “I couldn’t go to the New York Yankees last year. There are a lot of people who love baseball at baseball study meetings. I want to study more theory with them. I think.”
