The government temporarily closed ski resorts and major tourist attractions across the country from yesterday (24th) as a special quarantine measure to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

That doesn’t mean all sales have stopped.

This is Deogyusan Resort, Muju-gun, Jeollabuk-do.

There are dozens of people waiting to get on the sightseeing gondola.

In a situation where social distancing is difficult, the resort operates 80 gondolas to Seolcheonbong Peak near the summit of Mt. Deogyu.

The resort explained that it is complying with the quarantine rules, such as reducing the number of people on the gondola from 8 to 4.

Vehicles heading to the beach for the Christmas holiday also have their tails on their tails.

There is no room to enter the parking lot either.

The nearby campsite is full of colorful tents.

You can also see the campers gathered together to eat meat and grill.

Some areas in downtown Seoul were also crowded.

The Dongmyo Pungmul Market was crowded with citizens who came to see all kinds of antiques.

Most of them wore masks, but the distance was not observed.

Citizens’ voluntary participation is paramount in order to prevent the worst situation of raising social distancing in three stages.
