On the 5th, Ssangyong Motors launched The New Rexton Sport & Car, which has been changed to a tough design concept.
The new Sport & Cannes is a facelift (partial change) model that incorporates the design identity of Sports in 2018 and Cannes in 2019.
The New Rexton Sports & Cannes has a’Go Tough’ design concept. It is explained that it was completed by adding the bold presence of Korea’s representative pickups with unstoppable, progressive and dynamic strength, which is an authentic pickup identity.
The deck of The New Rexton Cannes can load up to 700kg (power leaf suspension) with an overwhelming capacity (1262ℓ, VDA standard) that is 24.8% larger than the sports (1011ℓ, VDA standard) and a 75% increase in weight. The dynamic five-link suspension model is available up to 500 kg (400 kg for sports).
In addition, by increasing the height by about 10mm with the dynamic suspension, it is possible to improve the handling performance and driving stability, as well as improving the rough road driving capability.
The powertrain is a combination of the e-XDi 220 LET diesel engine and AISIN AW 6-speed automatic transmission, which provides a maximum output of 187 horsepower (ps, 3800RPM) and a maximum torque of 40.8kg.m (1400-2800RPM).
To support the expanded loading capacity, the Khan has the same maximum output as the sport, but the maximum torque is 42.8kg.m (1600-2600RPM).
