It was revealed that three of the employees of the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), who are suspicious of speculation by purchasing land in the Gwangmyeong and Siheung districts, where the development of the new city is scheduled, have worked as senior positions at the Gwangmyeong Siheung Business Headquarters.

According to data obtained by Congressman Eun-Hye Kim’s Office of People’s Power on the 12th through the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and LH, among the 12 LH employees who raised suspicion of speculation by the Participatory Solidarity and the Lawyers for Democratic Society, Mr. Three have worked at the Gwangmyeong Siheung Headquarters.

Among them, Mr. Kim and Mr. Kang were people who were in charge of major duties such as compensation and general affairs when the Gwangmyeong Siheung Bogeumjari district was designated between 2010 and 2015.

From February 2013 to January 2014, when the wind of development in the Bogeumjari district was in full swing, Mr. Kim served as Level 2 (manager level) at the Gwangmyeong Siheung Headquarters and oversees the work of his department. He was in charge of land compensation for the Gwangmyeong Siheung Headquarters while serving as a third-level (deputy general manager) for two years until May.

On June 27, 2019, Mr. Kim purchased land at 17X-X, Gwarim-dong, Siheung-si, Gyeonggi-do (2739㎡) with his wife, his wife, Mr. Kang, 6XX-X, Guarim-dong (5025㎡), Siheung-si, to other LH employees. I bought it with.

In addition, Park purchased the land in Mujinae-dong, Siheung-si in 2018, and while holding it, worked as an expert commissioner applied the wage peak system at the Gwangmyeong Siheung Business Headquarters from 2019 to 2020.

Earlier in 2010, 17.4㎢ of Gwangmyeong and Siheung was designated as the Bogeumjari District. With a plan to build 95,000 households, measures to improve wide area traffic of over 1.5 trillion won were also prepared. However, the development was stopped due to problems such as a recession in the housing economy and LH’s financial shortage. The designation of a public housing district was lifted on April 30, 2015, and it was converted to a special management area to prevent difficult development.
