SpaceX Mars Migrant Spacecraft Test Launch and Explosion… Third in a row

A prototype model (prototype) of’Starship’, a spacecraft for migration to Mars, being developed by space exploration company SpaceX, exploded again shortly after landing. This is the third time in a row that it exploded during the test firing process.

AFP news agency reported that SpaceX’s starship prototype’SN10′, launched from the Boca Chica launch site in Texas, USA, landed safely at 5:15 pm (local time) on the 3rd, but was immediately engulfed in flames and exploded.

In this test launch, which was broadcast live by SpaceX, the SN10 flew to an altitude of about 10 km and then finished landing, but it exploded minutes later as flames erupted from the bottom.

Previously, SpaceX tested its Starship prototypes on December 9th last year and 3rd last month, but all exploded during landing.

SpaceX’s goal is to take up to 12 people on the Starship within two years to return to the moon and then send an expedition to Mars.

Starship, which has a total length of 120m, is expected to travel between the Moon and Mars with 100 humans and 100 tons of cargo.

To this end, the day before, Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa posted a recruitment announcement looking for someone to join him on a trip to the moon.

The public offering deadline is up to 14 days, and Maezawa pays the full cost.

Maezawa explained in a YouTube video contest message in Japanese and English that a total of 10 to 12 people, including himself, will board the spacecraft.
