[일렉트릭파워 배상훈 기자]Korea Southern Power (President Jeongsik Shin) improves regulations to grow with SMEs. It is expected to be a boon to partners suffering from Corona 19.

On December 23rd, Southern Power held the 2020 Regulatory Improvement Committee non-face-to-face at its Busan headquarters.

The Southern Power Regulatory Improvement Committee is a review body for improvement of various regulations throughout the company. The committee consists of 3 partners and 4 external experts, including outside members, 1 non-executive director, and 4 internal members.

The Regulatory Improvement Committee reviewed the achievements of 30 regulatory improvement projects promoted by Southern Power over the past year. They also discussed the direction to go in the future.

In particular, ▲Southern Power has introduced a fair contract pledge to strengthen fair contracts to help SMEs ▲Eased restrictions on payment of advance payments to alleviate the burden of partner companies ▲Revised contract standards to streamline work procedures. Subsequently, further improvement measures were discussed.

CEO Shin Jeong-sik said, “We will provide a hope for a resurgence through active regulatory improvement for suppliers who are suffering from severe difficulties due to Corona 19. said.

Meanwhile, in July, Southern Power established the’KOSPO Corporate Growth Response Center’ under the direct control of the business division. Here, it is in charge of improving regulations and protecting civil complaints.

Currently, we are promoting the unique model of South Power’s regulatory innovation, ▲scissors (unfair deregulation) ▲rock (breaking out unreasonable practices) and ▲paper (inclusive growth with partners).
