Opening a bird’s eye view… Creating an open-type complex cultural space
[일렉트릭파워 배상훈 기자]Korea South-East Power (President Hyang-Yeol Yoo) released a bird’s-eye view of’Daegu Natural Gas Power Plant and Complex Cultural Space’ on February 2. This project is a national project worth 1.7 trillion won in the national industrial complex in Dalseong-gun, Daegu.
An official from Southeast Power said, “We applied a specialized landscape design for the first time in Korea to build an eco-friendly natural gas power plant in Daegu.” “We plan to create an open complex cultural space for local residents.”
The responsible architect who is in the process of designing the landscape said, “It reflects the strong will of Southeast Power to realize a building with a beautiful and friendly image beyond the functional appearance of the plant.”
He explained, “The nature-friendly streamlined landscape that goes beyond the preconceptions of plant architecture was innovatively applied, using the ridge of Biseulsan Mountain in Dalseong-gun as a motif.”
A large complex cultural space that is three times the size of a soccer field open to local residents also attracts attention. This place has four themes: ▲Cultural Center, Art & Ecological Park ▲Camping, Picnic ▲Large Water Playground, Four Seasons Sled Park ▲Park Golf, and various stadiums.
Southeast Power has created an exceptional space at the level of a theme park that can be enjoyed by anyone of all ages. In the case of landscape design and complex cultural spaces, we plan to materialize in a better direction by actively collecting opinions from residents.
“We will spare no effort in investment and support to meet the needs of the residents of Dalseong-gun, Daegu,” said Hyang-yeol Yoo, president of Southeast Power Plant.
