Song Joong-ki “I was attracted to a new genre rather than a masterpiece, I saw’Seungri-ho’ and’Amazing!’ Shouted”[SS인터뷰]

The transformation of Song Joong-ki, who became the first wolf boy in Korea in the movie’The Wolf Boy’ (directed by Jo Seong-hee), which was released in 2012, attracted great attention. This is because he, who had grown up as a’handsome star’ at the time, couldn’t imagine that he would act as a wolf boy with a grotesque spite. As such, Song Joong-ki has no fear of change. Song Joong-gi reunited with Director Sung-hee Sung-hee again after the time had elapsed enough to change Gangsan. This time, they joined forces with’Seungriho’, the first space science fiction movie in Korea.

As if everyone was excited at first, Song Joong-ki also had a different love for’Seungri-ho’. He said, “It was released on Netflix and I saw it four times.” “Because there were many parts that were filmed in front of chroma key, the actors were really curious about how the result would come out. It was CG except for the part that was filmed. The staff are very good people, and although I had trust, I was really surprised to see the finished version. I also gained confidence.”

Then he said, “When I was filming’The Wolf Boy’, I first heard about this work from the director. I didn’t think I would do it. At that time, Taeho’s character wasn’t my age, and the work itself was a very different version. I just said,’The director is so cool. I thought it was drastic,” he said. “I think the supervisor suggested it because I am a person who is easy to contact. I also have a good memory when I say’Wolf Boy’. At the time, they were both rookies and comrades who started together, so it seems that they rely on each other and accumulated sincerity. If you would like to give me the next work again, it would be welcome.”

In addition to’Seungri-ho’, from the past tvN’Asdal Chronicles’ to the recently broadcasted tvN drama’Vinsenzo’, Song Joong-ki does not fall out of expectations. “It’s not what I’m attracted to because it’s a so-called masterpiece. ‘Asdal Chronicles’ was attracted because it was the first genre I saw. In that sense, Seung-ho also talks about the universe. I cried out, “It’s great.” It is true that the genre is so greedy. I think I have a great desire to do what I haven’t done now. It was nice when I met a new genre. If I feel like I’ve already done it, I don’t think I’m attracted.”

At the online production briefing for’Seungri-ho’, Song Joong-ki expressed his heart with the word’desperation’ about the intertwining of his personal history with the time he worked on the work. Regarding this, he said, “I know everything, so as I said, I talked about my feelings when shooting. Rather than overcoming, I think it’s because I like the nature of my personality itself, so I guess I said that on the day of the production report. I wasn’t trying to overcome it.”

Song Joong-ki, who overcame desperation and returned to’Seungri-ho’ and’Vinsen-jo’, has grown even more mature. The passion for acting is also evident. He said, “The timing of’Seungri-ho’ and’Vinsen-jo’ coincidently overlapped. It feels burdensome to greet each other with movies and dramas at once. That much greed is also great. Both of them are very affectionate and fun projects, so I hope you enjoy watching them more.”

Lastly, he said, “Before’Seungri-ho’ was released on Netflix, tears were stricken at the feedback from an official who saw it first. All the works are both good and regretful, but’Seungri-ho’ said that he saw how he made this work, but from the middle he gave up that thought and said that he saw it while applauding. it was good. It’s good just to see all the works we make and release because of our hard work. I hope you have a happy time while watching comfortably at home.”
