Professor Seo Gyeong-deok expressed concerns about the Chinese-made bibimbap PPL by tvN’Vinsenjo’.

Professor Seo Kyung-deok explained, “The situation in which China continues to insist that Kimchi, Hanbok, and Pansori are’the culture of their own country’.”
He added, “Rather than targeting Korea, this PPL was aimed at promoting products in many countries through the global influence of Korean dramas,” he added.
Professor Seo pointed out that “the most worrying thing is that bibimbap in a disposable container written in Chinese may cause misunderstandings as Chinese food to overseas viewers.”

In episode 8 of the tvN weekend drama’Vincenzo’, which aired on the 14th, the scene where Hong Ja-young (Jeon Yeo-bin) handed a retort bibimbap to Vincenzo Cassano (Song Joong-ki) was spread.
