The Premier League Secretariat collected the best goals scored in the league in 2020 through the official website on the 1st (Korean time).
Son Heung-min was featured in the video with a fantastic right-footed shot from the North London derby against Arsenal in the 11th round of the Premier League in the 2020/21 season.
In 5 minutes of the first half, Son Heung-min received a pass from Kane in a counterattack situation and succeeded in breaking through. As the defender did not stick, he immediately wound up with his right foot from a distance and hit a shot.
After the game, Son Heung-min said,’It’s hard to be humble today. Even if I was lucky enough to score a goal, I don’t think people will believe it,” he said.
Son Heung-min won the 2020 FIFA Puskas Award following last season’s goal by scoring before Burnley in the 2019/20 season.
