Director Jose Mourinho was confident that he would sign a renewal contract with Son Heung-min when the coronavirus situation eases.
British media’London Evening Standard’ announced on the 8th (Korean time), “Director Mourinho is convinced of a renewal of the contract with Son Heung-min. When the novel coronavirus is mitigated, we will have a full-scale discussion. We are waiting for the right moment.”
Son Heung-min joined Tottenham in 2015. In the debut season, it was a tough competition, but it has been established since the 2016-17 season. Harry Kane has developed into a key player by filling the void with excellence. Beyond the Premier League, he also showed off his presence in the European Football Federation (UEFA) Champions League.
The contract was renewed ahead of the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games. In the Asian Games, he won a gold medal around his neck and received military service benefits.
