[아시아경제 이승진 기자] A twenties who secretly photographed the bodies of a sleep anesthesia patient and a bus passenger while working as a hospital social service worker were sentenced to jail at an appeals court.

The 2nd Criminal Division of the Jeonju District Law (President Judge Kim Yu-rang) announced on the 21st that it had maintained a one-year prison sentence in an appeal trial against Mr. A (27), who was charged with violating the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes, etc. .

A, who worked as a social service worker at a hospital in Jeonbuk, was charged with secretly photographing the body of a woman 82 times in hospitals and buses from November 2015 to August 2019.

After endoscopy, it was revealed that Mr. A photographed the victim’s body under sleep anesthesia with a mobile phone camera and installed photographic equipment in the changing room.

Mr. A continued the crime in public places such as buses even after the call was lifted. His illegal videos amounted to 1216 GB (gigabytes).

The judge ruled that “the defendant undermines the victim’s trust in the medical system, and the guilt is bad considering the duration of the crime and the amount of video held,” and said, “The sentence of distality does not look too heavy or light.”
