So-Hyun Jo (33), the captain of the women’s soccer team, will wear the same uniform as Son Heung-min (29).
Tottenham’s club announced on the 29th (Korean time) that “Sohyun Jo was recruited through loan from West Ham United.” Jo So-hyun runs 11 times for Tottenham.
So-Hyun Jo made his debut at Suwon Facility Management Corporation in 2009. After going through Hyundai Steel, he played in Japanese and Norwegian leagues. Jo So-Hyun entered the England Women’s Super League in 2019 and played an active part in West Ham Unite.
Tottenham explained, “Playmaker So-Hyun Jo is the player who has participated in the most national team games (126 matches) among Korean female players.
Son Heung-min, who is active in Tottenham, also welcomed Jo So-hyun’s transfer, saying, “Welcome to Tottenham and good luck” through the club’s SNS.
With the approval of the English Football Association, Jo So-Hyun can start playing against Chelsea on the 31st (local time).
