During military service, a man in his 20s who insulted his superior, female company commander and platoon commander against a specific part of his body, was sentenced to imprisonment.

Chuncheon District Law Criminal 1 Deputy Judge Jung Moon-sik announced on the 13th that he had suspended the sentence of six months in prison for Mr. A (21), who was charged with insulting his superiors.

Mr. A, who worked as a soldier in the parent unit, was talking with two other soldiers at the smoking area next to the barracks on March 4, last year, at about 3 pm, and compared the female company commander (30) and the female platoon leader (23) to specific parts of the body. He was accused of insulting, saying, “The big XX goes, the small XX is close”.

Deputy Judge Jeong said, “The crime in this case causes the risk of a decrease in defense power by damaging the command system, such as the military’s obedience relationship, and the accused’s responsibility is not light. However, the defendant is the first offender with no criminal record. In this way, the sentence was decided in this way by taking into account the facts that all the crimes in this case were acknowledged and serious reflection, and that all victims did not want the accused to be punished.”
